  • The site fetches images from each cam a maximum of 3 times per day, so it is gentle on bandwidth. It is not a full archive site. It does not hotlink images, they are fetched and re-served.
  • Discovered cams are categorised and information such as the cam name and web site URL are entered by site visitors.

    Why you should have your cam on spotcamera.com:
  • Providing that the information is known, it will increase traffic to your web site.
  • Linking into your cam page on spotcamera.com will increase your rankings in the top cams list, that shows on the main page. This will also increase traffic to your site.
  • You can link into your spotcamera.com cam page as a mini archive.
  • You can keep track of which pages hotlink your images (eg cam portals).
